Ha Long Festival at Ba Men Temple consists of 2 parts: ceremony and festival. The ceremony took place from January 19 to noon on January 20, attracting a large number of fishermen, Buddhist associations and tourists to offer offerings of incense and flowers to the temple. From noon on January 20, the festival takes place with a fishing competition taking place between fishing villages. Each boat consists of 1 driver and 14 rowers. On both sides of the track, fans cheered passionately, creating a vibrant atmosphere for the festival.

The Monsignor Temple Festival

It is held on April 29 every year at the Monsignor Tran Quoc Nghien temple at the foot of Bai Tho mountain. This Ha Long festival takes place solemnly and attractively with a palanquin procession from the temple through the Ha Long market gate to Long Tieu pagoda. Then offer incense at the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Labor Cultural Palace and then return to the temple.
