Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Hanoi arrival – walking food tour
Our guide picks you up from airport and check in hotel (Hotel check-in: 2pm)
After reaching hotel, our guide will bring you around Hanoi Old Town by walking for 3-4 hours to discover Hanoi Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem lake, Hanoi church, Hanoi railway… Your local guide will help you better understand the intricacies and traditions of Vietnamese culinary culture, including detailed information on ingredients and historical background of famous Northern dishes. Many delicious dishes are waiting for you to taste in Old Town such as Noodle (Pho), Bun cha (noodles with grilled pork) Bread (Banh My), (fried/fresh spring rolls) Egg coffee, mixed fruits…
Day 2: Hanoi – Sapa – Cat Cat village trekking (B-L-D), overnight in Sapa
6.30 – 7.00: Our driver pick you up at hotels in the Old Quarter Area, Hanoi, get on big bus and depart for Sapa Town.
9.30: Follow the highway to Lao Cai city with the first comfort break
11.00: Second comfort break at Lao Cai city before approaching Sapa
13.00: Arrive at Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H’Mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People. Get pick up from the bus office in Sapa at 12:30 PM to take you to our office Have Lunch and check-in the room. We will then depart from the hotel at 2:30 pm and walk down 3Km to Exploring Cat Cat Shin chai village of H’mong – A colonial French discovered area and a renowned resort to officials from the early twenty century. Arriving in Cat Cat village, visitors will be visiting the Hydropower station, the waterfall of Cat Cat village as well as learning about the culture, customs and unique people here with traditional crafts such as weaving, carved silver, hand forged agricultural tools. After that, you will walk back to Sapa (3Km) Relax and have dinner at 6:30 PM or 7:00 PM
Overnight at the hotel in Sapa
Day 3: Fansipan peak – Dragon Cloud Glass bridge – Sa Pa town (B-L)
Start/Finish time: 8am/5pm.
We will take short drive to Cable car station to take 20 minutes cable ride up mountain. Then you can climb about 600 steps or take funicular train (pay your own) to the Fansipan peak– The rooftop of Indochina.
Lunch will be served with Sa Pa salmon hotpot.
Take 30 minute-drive to Dragon Cloud Glass bridge. Visit Sapa town, Sa Pa church, Market. Dinner will be in your own to freely choose local food. (If you need include, please let us know)
Day 4: Lao Chai – Ta Van trekking – Sapa- Hanoi (B-L-D)
Enjoy your breakfast then check out of the room. Keep your baggage in the hotel then we will walk from Sapa towards
At 09:00, let the adventure unfold as you embark on a 6-kilometer trek downhill towards the Southeast of Sapa, traversing the captivating Muong Hoa Valley towards Y Linh Ho village, the ancestral abode of the Black H’mong people. Immerse yourself in the rich cultural tapestry of this community as you stroll through their village, taking in the sights, sounds, and traditions that define their way of life. Continuing onwards, an additional 3-kilometer trek leads you to the picturesque Lao Chai village, where a delectable lunch awaits. Delight in the flavors of the region, nourishing both your body and soul. Lunch at Lao Chai Village then keep going to Ta Van Village of Zay people.
Resume your trek, meandering through the terraced rice fields that stretch as far as the eye can see, ultimately arriving at the charming Ta Van village, home to the Tay minority. This portion of the trek, while relatively easy, may present some challenges if rain has rendered the trails slippery. It is advisable to wear appropriate footwear, ensuring your safety and comfort.
15:00- 16:00 Say goodbye our local guide and get on the van to get back Hanoi.
About 21:00 Arrive in Hanoi, do check in hotel again.
Day 5: Ha Long Bay full day trip (B-L)
8:00 – 08:45 — Our bus and guide pick you up from hotel / stay and follow the new expressway to depart for Tuan Chau Island, Ha Long City, stop over for a rest on the way.
12:00 – Arrive Tuan Chau Harbor, welcome aboard, and safety briefing. Cruise will take you on an 5 hours journey via 2 day-sleeper boat cruise route which renowned for its striking, passages uninhabited islets and outcrops have been given imaginative names by the locals, due to their perceived shapes, including Fighting Chicken, while enjoy Vietnamese mouth-watering lunch on boat.
13:45 – Arrive Bo Hon archipelago, you will visit Surprising Cave to see a lot of stalagmites and stalactites with different shapes of sea lives, the go kayaking or bamboo boat in Luon Cave to discover the beautiful lagoon. Visit Titov Island with sandy beach adjacent to the towering limestone mountain with excellent backdrop of the Bay, and climb up Titop Peak for a panoramic view of the bay like paradise.
16:30 – Return Cruises for Afternoon Tea and cruising back toward Tuan Chau harbor. There are a lot of time for sunbathing on upper deck among world iconic natural scenery.
18:00 – Disembark for a bus ride back on the new expressway to Hanoi.
20:30 – Drop off at your hotel stay, trip ends
Day 6: Hanoi departure (B)
Breakfast at hotel. Depending on your flight you may have some more time for shopping. Then we transfer you to the airport for your flight home. Goodbye, and hope to see you again soon!
