For me, autumn is the best time to visit and enjoy Hanoi. During the season, Hanoi puts on a romantic and charming outfit thanks to the nice weather, the falling yellow trees, the nice delicious food.
Hanoi is at its charming best in autumn when the city is garbed in blue sky and a cool breeze blows. The sun is no longer beating down, sunlight becomes less blistering, a cool wind begins to blow in, and yellow leaves are scattered on the street. Autumn has come to Hanoi and that is the time for us to enjoy the typical foods which have only in the autumn such as: green sticky rice, Lotus seed sweet soup, Banh troi tau (Sweet rice soup), etc…
The special aroma of milk flowers and for its typical yellow daisy. It is also considered the season of romance, of literature, and of memories past.
You can walk or take the cyclos around Hoan Kiem lake, the old and French streets to see the falling leaves, feeling the soft breeze and soft warmth of sunlight, and take some great photos.
You can also enjoy the sunset in West Lake or Long Bien Bridge, so find a café shop in the old quarter areas to See the street vendors carrying the heaven of Hanoi autumn.
