Tam Coc
Tam Coc is located in the area of 5 Ngu Nhac Son mountains, Dam Khe village, Ninh Hai commune, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province. Tam Coc and Bich Dong are part of the Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex. In 2014, Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex was recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage. The name “Tam Coc” comes from the desire to collectively call three caves including Hang Ca, Hang Hai and Hang Ba. The word “Tam” means 3 and “Coc” means movement. In the Tam Coc Ninh Binh area, there are many rice fields stretching along the Ngo Dong river, creating a scene that captivates visitors every time they come here.

Bai Dinh pagoda
Bai Dinh Pagoda is known as the pagoda with the most records in Southeast Asia with an area of up to 539 hectares. Bai Dinh Pagoda is an ancient pagoda that has witnessed thousands of years of heroic history of the Vietnamese people. The pagoda was founded by Zen master Nguyen Minh Khong in 1136 in Ninh Binh, part of Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex. He is known as one of the monks who made great contributions in building and developing the Buddhist foundation here.
When visiting Bai Dinh Pagoda, you must definitely visit the temple’s record-breaking works. Among them, first is the largest bronze bell in Vietnam with a weight of up to 36 tons. The bell is carved with sophisticated and unique artistic patterns.
In addition, if you have wishes, you must definitely go to Asia’s largest Shakyamuni Statue, solemnly placed in the temple’s Dharma Master. The statue weighs 100 tons and is 9.5 meters high, bringing splendor to the space.

That is why this langur species was chosen as the symbol of Cuc Phuong National Park.

The entire tourist area has a total area of more than 300 hectares, of which 334.2 hectares is flooded forest. This is the habitat of 109 plant species and 150 animal species.
