DAY 1Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van
After breakfast and a safety briefing, begin the loop with your private local driver. Cross Bac Sum Pass, admire Quan Ba Heaven Gate and the Twin Mountains, and continue through the limestone scenery of the Dong Van Karst Plateau. Stop at Chin Khoanh and Tham Ma passes before reaching Dong Van for dinner and an overnight hotel stay.
DAY 2Dong Van – Nho Que River – Lung Cu – Dong Van
Return to the dramatic Ma Pi Leng road and descend for a scenic boat journey on the Nho Que River beneath Tu San Canyon. Continue north through remote highland country to Lung Cu Flag Tower, close to the Chinese border, with wide views across border valleys and ethnic minority villages. Return to Dong Van and enjoy the atmospheric Old Quarter after dark.
DAY 3Dong Van – Meo Vac – Du Gia
Ride the mountain road through Ma Pi Leng and Meo Vac, then continue through Mau Due and Lung Ho. Stop for lunch along the route and watch the scenery soften from stark karst peaks to forested hills and terraced fields. Arrive in Du Gia for a family-style dinner and an overnight stay at a homestay or eco-lodge.
DAY 4Du Gia – Lung Tam – Ha Giang – Hanoi
Walk through Du Gia in the cool morning, then ride to Lung Tam, where Hmong women preserve the craft of hemp weaving. Continue via Quan Ba, the Twin Mountains, Heaven Gate and Bac Sum Pass. Reach Ha Giang at approximately 15:00, freshen up and take the 16:00 limousine to Hanoi, arriving around 23:00.
