Receive a warm welcome on arrival at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport. Meet your guide and driver, then transfer to the hotel for check-in. The remainder of the day is free to rest after the flight. Overnight in Bangkok.

After breakfast, visit the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, home of the Emerald Buddha. Continue to Wat Pho to admire the Reclining Buddha and Wat Traimit to see the Golden Buddha. In the afternoon, board a long-tail boat for a journey along the Chao Phraya River and Bangkok’s bustling canals, with a stop at Wat Arun. Return to the hotel and enjoy free time. Overnight in Bangkok.

Leave Bangkok early for Maeklong Railway Market, where the train passes directly through the busy market. Continue to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and take a motorboat through its picturesque waterways. Afterwards, travel to Kanchanaburi and visit the World War II memorial sites, including the JEATH War Museum and cemetery. Board a local train for a scenic 30-minute journey beside the river, then visit the Bridge on the River Kwai. Overnight in Kanchanaburi.

Visit the seven-tiered Erawan Waterfall, with time to walk between the cascades and swim in the natural pools, before continuing to historic Ayutthaya.

Explore Ayutthaya and Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, then board the overnight train to Chiang Mai. No guide accompanies guests on the train.

Discover Chiang Mai’s Old Town, important temples, traditional streets, local markets and Doi Suthep.

Join an ethical elephant sanctuary programme with feeding, learning activities, Thai lunch and river time.

Travel to Mae Kampong for village life, forest scenery and a locally hosted experience with lunch.

After breakfast, transfer to Chiang Mai Airport for your onward flight. End of services.
