Upon arrival in Chiang Rai, transfer to your hotel and enjoy free time to relax or stroll around the city. Overnight in Chiang Rai.

After breakfast, travel to Doi Tung Royal Villa and the Mae Fah Luang Garden, beautifully set in a mountain valley filled with colourful flowers. Continue to Mae Sai, Thailand’s northernmost town and a lively border trading point facing Myanmar. Lunch is at your own arrangement. In the afternoon, visit the Golden Triangle, once associated with the regional opium trade, and enjoy a boat ride on the Mekong River with views towards Thailand, Laos and Myanmar. Return to Chiang Rai for the night.

Begin at Chiang Rai’s local morning market, where residents shop for fresh fruit and vegetables. Visit Wat Phra Kaew and the Mae Fah Luang Art and Cultural Park, then continue to Wat Rong Khun, the extraordinary White Temple created by artist Chalermchai Kositpipat. After lunch at your own arrangement, travel to Thaton and visit the hilltop temple overlooking the Kok River and surrounding mountains. Check in and overnight in Thaton.

Visit Chiang Dao Cave, continue through Mae Malai, stop at Mork Fah Waterfall and Pong Dueat Hot Springs, then arrive in Pai.
